As a graduate from Solvay in Business Engineering, coupled with a certificate from the selective QTEM Master's Network (Quantitative Techniques in Economics and Management), I have had to adapt myself to various situations and to overcome multiple challenges. Thanks to these incredible experiences I've become an open-minded person and a quick-learner, always looking for the next challenge. During my studies, I became passioned by the domain of data science. This is why I started working as a data science consultant at Business & Decision. Here, I started a project for ING as business analyst where I supported the business through several projects. At the same time, I imagined, developed and implemented (together with another B&D consultant) a CV parser, named ResuMe. Through this tool, candidates can have in one eye sight an overview of their CV via a word-cloud highlighting their most unique characteristics and skills. In addition, a prediction is made to find the best practice of B&D for the candidate. Through this project I learned a lot in text-mining, web-scraping, python programming, but also how to manage a project from start to end. Moreover, I became a teaching assistance for a data science class at Solvay, thaught to first year Master students in Management Science. I have, together with another assitant, created the teaching material and 2 assigments and thaught 12 hours of exercise sessions in topics going from relational databases, to python and RapidMiner programming, to classification and clustering. Finally, sports have also been a big part of my life. Since 2012 I became a Trampoline teacher in a local gymnastics club, teaching to children from 6 to 10 years old, the older children (from 10 years onwards) and helping the financial cell of the gymnastics club with their accountancy. Working together with children, but also with the other trainers and the board is something I really like.
